STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in a literal, conscious, and eternal heaven.
  • We believe in the reality of Satan and a literal, conscious, eternal Hell.
  • The Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
  • Man was created by God in the image of God. Man then disobeyed God and was subsequently alienated from God because of his sin.
  • All men are born into sin and under condemnation, destined to spend eternity separated from God in Hell. Man’s sinful nature is incapable of pleasing God.
  • Jesus Christ was both fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin and lived a perfectly sinless life.
  • We believe in the supernatural power, authenticity, and demonstrative authority of Christ’s miracles.
  • We believe in the voluntary, vicarious and atoning death of Christ through His shed blood on a cross.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, after revealing himself to His disciples and other witnesses.
  • For the salvation of lost and sinful men, repentance of sin and professed faith in the atoning death Jesus Christ and His resurrection results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit, allowing men to enter into a personal relationship with God.
  • Salvation is not based on one’s merit and cannot be attained through good works, but only by God’s grace. Salvation is immediate, abiding, and eternal.
  • Every person who receives salvation should then be baptized through immersion to symbolize the death of their old self and resurrection of their new life through Christ in obedience to His command. This baptism in no way is a means of salvation and should follow one’s repentance and profession of faith in Christ.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who is revealing and glorifying Christ, convicting the world of sin, whose indwelling enables the Christian to bear fruit of a godly life to the glory of God, and who seals each believer until the day of redemption.
  • Christ is the head of the Church, which consists of every living and deceased person who has been joined to Him through salvation, and each member of the Church should submit in reverence to the authority and supremacy of Christ and His Word.
  • We believe in the imminent, visible, and personal return of Christ in power and glory.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life in heaven and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation in hell.
  • We believe every Christian should be actively involved in a local New Testament church for their spiritual growth and edification of the Body of Christ.
  • Every believer is responsible to carry out the Great Commission as ambassadors of Christ, preaching the gospel to the lost, baptizing new believers, and instructing them to obey Christ’s commands until His return.
