EQUIPPING AND ENGAGING STUDENTS IN MISSIONAL LIVING LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY

Wings Global Outreach strongly believes that God uses short-term mission projects to deepen a believer’s faith and commitment to Christ and motivate them towards a missional lifestyle. Wings seeks to provide the best mission project experience by working alongside local churches and missionaries to strengthen and advance their ministry. Students are given many opportunities to share the gospel while equipping them with practical ministry skills.

Our GO Mission Projects employ a three-fold strategy. First, students are equipped with Biblical truth to fully understand their role in the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28:19-29 and Acts 1:8.  To make an impact for God’s kingdom, they must see the world from His perspective and understand that missions is a lifestyle, not a program. Second, students are provided avenues to discover and exercise their spiritual gifts and talents to serve others in tangible ways. These opportunities allow them to realize their potential to reach others for Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and better understand their purpose in the Church. Third, through our teams’ evangelism and acts of service we fully expect to see people encounter the redeeming love of Christ, experience true repentance, and commit to following Him. These three aspects work toward one ultimate goal – the advancement of God’s kingdom toward the completion of the Great Commission.

Wings organizes custom mission projects for churches, schools, and organizations based on: desired ministry location, ministry activities, time frame, and budget. Our cost includes lodging, meals, transportation to and around our country of destination (including taxes and fees), insurance, T-shirt, Bible-based training material, cultural preparation for our country of destination, planning and supervising a group’s time on the field, and a “tourist day”.
